Suzy Moritz
Every year, Suzy travels to New Mexico to reunite with nature and create new images of her favorite places. She is inspired by Georgia O’Keefe Country and the magical town of Taos, its surrounding vistas and magnificent sunsets. She captures the clear, unending vastness of the skies and landscapes. From her journeys she has created a prolific body of work with intriguing use of color, light and shadow. Suzy Moritz-Rawdin is a native Texan, with studios in both Dallas, Texas & Taos, New Mexico. Her interest in art started at an early age, when she began to see the world in light and shadow. Suzy was raised in Louisiana, moving back to Texas, where she studied art at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. After a long career in real estate and real estate finance, she focused on developing her artistic ability into a full-time profession. Suzy is known for her lively pet portraits, architectural renderings, murals and representational landscapes. Suzy’s work is also shown The Songbird Society in Dallas, and Ethan and Associates at The World Trade Center in Dallas, Talulah and Hess, Dallas, and Davis Street Mercantile, Dallas.
